I discovered this amazing restaurant called Banana Blossom today while out with the family in Mona Vale. They make healthy Asian salads that taste absolutely amazing and I had their "Tokyo Classic" with Tofu which also comes with a chicken option. The menu describes it as having Chinese cabbage, avocado, cucumber, cherry tomatoes, green tea soba noodles, Asian herbs, Asian salad mix with creamy white sesame dressing and black sesame seeds. This salad was super healthy, delicious, vegetarian and it only cost $13 which is a very good price as it came in a large bowl that held a very filling portion size. My parents had the Tripple Chilli Chicken Salad and my sister had the Coconut Chicken Crispy Egg Noodle which both smelt and apparently tasted awesomely delicious. These were also only $13 like the rest of the menu options and on my next visit I plan on trying the Buddha's Delight with Tofu which has crispy vegetarian noodles, green papaya, pineapple, Chinese cabbage, Thai herbs, crispy egg noodles and a sweet tamarind dressing. The Banana Blossom was obviously very popular with the locals as it was very busy despite being in a discrete location around the Mona Vale shopping area. There are also Banana Blossoms at both Cremorne on Military Road and in Manly on Market Lane.
This is a picture of the "Tokyo Classic" with chicken that came from the Banana Blossom Manly site on Weekend notes.
